My name's Rachel and I'm a 23 year old college student. I'm majoring in accounting, but I've added a history minor on the side for fun. ;) I moved to a university town in the fall of 2012, and I share an apartment with my boyfriend of nearly 4 years and two pretty cool roommates. :)
I've been baking my entire life, never straying far from the standard cookie recipe on the back of the chocolate chips bag, but in the last few years I realized what an awesome creative outlet baking can be, so now I'm hooked.
I started Rachie Cakes to chronicle all my baking adventures and to see if this blog can take me anywhere interesting. I'm really big on having dreams, so I suppose this blog is an extension of that. I hope you enjoy it. :)
